Here we go finally Rough Country 5" ( Pic Added 9 May)
Well after having the EX for 3 years im finaly gonna start. Im running 285/75/16. all else is stock.
I replaced the ball joints and noticed the spings are resting on the bump stops WOW.
So today i ordered the rough country 5" lift it will be here friday. Also by chance i found a set of brand new hankook 315/75/16 with a 1 year factory warranty for $500 so you know i picked those up.
So this weekend the EX will go from stock to 5" with 35's all for $1300 cant beat that. I will post lots of pics and look forward to all the interesting posts.
Rear blocks are massive. The spring has 12" of contact with the block and there are seprate u-bolt that attach the block to the spring as well as around the axcel.
Nice, if you are going to install in your drive please start a build thread. I 'm really interested in seeing installing/procedure photos/video. Shops here ask $1000 in labor for installation.

I am doing the install myself. Im waiting on a few more parts before i begin, track bar bushing, sway bar bushing, end link bushings and dual steering stabilizer.

The lift went on the truck today. I have to say it was not to bad at all, as long as you have an understanding of how the suspension goes together and works you should be fine.
I want to apologize in advance for not taking as many pics as i would have liked. I was on a time crunch the shop i used was only open a few hours today. The install took me 5 hours from start to finish, however i had air tools and a lift. If you are going to do this in your driveway plan a weekend. Heres what i got.
First thing i did was take off the bumper before going to the shop to save time it didnt open until 10 so i wanted to get something done. YOu can tell by the picture that it is sitting low in the front.
Before lift. Drives front 36 1/2" to the center of the wheel well1
Passenger front 37" To the center of the wheel well
Drivers rear 36 3/4" to the center of the wheel well
Passenger rear 37" to the center of the wheel well.
