Here we go finally Rough Country 5" ( Pic Added 9 May)

Well after having the EX for 3 years im finaly gonna start. Im running 285/75/16. all else is stock.

I replaced the ball joints and noticed the spings are resting on the bump stops WOW.

So today i ordered the rough country 5" lift it will be here friday. Also by chance i found a set of brand new hankook 315/75/16 with a 1 year factory warranty for $500 so you know i picked those up.

So this weekend the EX will go from stock to 5" with 35's all for $1300 cant beat that. I will post lots of pics and look forward to all the interesting posts.

5" should be nice with the 35"s. are you going to use stock wheels?

Rear blocks are massive. The spring has 12" of contact with the block and there are seprate u-bolt that attach the block to the spring as well as around the axcel.

Nice, if you are going to install in your drive please start a build thread. I 'm really interested in seeing installing/procedure photos/video. Shops here ask $1000 in labor for installation.

I am doing the install myself. Im waiting on a few more parts before i begin, track bar bushing, sway bar bushing, end link bushings and dual steering stabilizer.

The lift went on the truck today. I have to say it was not to bad at all, as long as you have an understanding of how the suspension goes together and works you should be fine.

I want to apologize in advance for not taking as many pics as i would have liked. I was on a time crunch the shop i used was only open a few hours today. The install took me 5 hours from start to finish, however i had air tools and a lift. If you are going to do this in your driveway plan a weekend. Heres what i got.

First thing i did was take off the bumper before going to the shop to save time it didnt open until 10 so i wanted to get something done. YOu can tell by the picture that it is sitting low in the front.

Before lift. Drives front 36 1/2" to the center of the wheel well1
Passenger front 37" To the center of the wheel well
Drivers rear 36 3/4" to the center of the wheel well
Passenger rear 37" to the center of the wheel well.
