i hate being a pest but i have a few questions.
what are the ns transmissions i read of people installing in their trucks. are they after market or what?
the bottom of my doors, the inside where the sheet metal if folded over, is showing a little rust. is there any way i can stop the rust?
what about the pitted areas when you refinish a part. how do you get the rust out of the pit? if you grind down that far the sheet metal will be very thin, if you don't you leave rust and a pitted final product.
hey frank, the best way to remove the rust is to sand-blast in the pitted area.then if salvageble, aply thin coat of body filler to hid it.or just seal it if looks aren't important.i've done this on rusty floor pans.and use marine body filler with fiberglass in it.also, blasting sand is an option, there are many blasting materials.oleblue=
