I just got me a 2000 F-150 with 105k in it. It runs and drives like new, SWEET! There was no owners manual in the truck so i would like to know what needs to be done to the truck as far as tune up's and such at the 100k sevice. I have read about the spark plugs blowing out and such but how often do they need to be changed? Are there any other things i need to look at?
Congratulations on the truck.
You can download your owners manual HERE
As far as the what and or when for maintenance my opinion is if you bought it at 100k miles change ALL fluids and filters, that way you can use the 100 as a starting point for keeping track of mileage for upcoming maintenance needs. As far as plugs, fan belt etc. depends on whether or not you have any previous maintenance history, did you get any receipts from the previous owner? If not I'd change those as well using Motorcraft parts.
Congratulations on the truck.
