starting ?????
i jkhave a 88 full size that is haveing starting problems (not when it is cold?) it can set for a few it will start but it sound like it draggs (KEEP IN MIND THER IS A NEW STARTER, ALTERNATOR, COIL, BATTERY PLUG WIRES AND DISTUBTOR WITH A NEW F-N ENGINE) what im i missing
there is to much money in this thing to pull the pin. this only seems to \
happen when warm is what i can think

check your timing. too much advance can push against the starter. Otherwise, was the starter new? reman? I have many starters fail off the shelf. also, make sure the starter isnt getting too hot, heat will wear it down over time.
New means new, doesn't mean good. lol. Have had bad parts right off the shelve as well and it makes life a little difficult when all the problems point to one part and that part being new doesn't work.
Timing has to be the issue here unless your temp is running higher than normal.
... and when you discover that the base timing is dead on, run the KOEO and KOER tests because chances are the problem IS related to thermal changes and not timing. EEC-IV controlled engines can adjust timing even further than the old "vacuum advance" setup and in either direction... something the old setup could not do. However, if you go arbitrarily changing base timing simply because you don't want to deal with the proper method of diagnosing the problem, you will continue to have the same and worse problems. Ignoring the electronics won't make the problems go away. Understanding how to properly diagnose problems with them WILL make troubleshooting much simpler and less of a "wild goose chase".
I'll bet dollars to doughnuts the base timing is dead on and the issue is a failing/failed ECT sensor. But don't take my word for it... run the tests.

A local starter/altenator shop has made a great reputation. Many shops make the bearings too tight and he fixes the starters.
After doing the above great advice and if you get no trouble codes you can test the ECT. Put the ECT in your oven along with a good oven thermometer. Read the resistance at different temps and compare them to the chart. It may not be not bad enough to throw a code but bad enough to affect driveability/starting. I found that both the ACT and ECT were off. One of them adjusted opposit of the plan when warm.
