frame vs bed length difference?
frame vs bed length difference?
Another question from the guy who is learning.
Shoot me - because this example is a Chevy, only because I've only seen this on Chevy's and it has me very curious.
This Truck on Ebay... yeah - ebay is a great observation tool for me at this point.
Chevrolet : Other Pickups:eBay Motors (item 130338645871 end time Oct-26-09 18:44:40 PDT)
From the profile, looking at the rear wheels, it looks as if the underlying frame was cut too short for the bed? The rear axle looks to be tucked too far forward - no I don't think it's the photo, have seen this on a few other trucks.
Could this very well be the case? [without more information that is - have no idea if it's on an S10 frame]
Appreciate the patience. Gretsch

it definately looks as if the truck was thrown tegether to look nice, and its obvious the seller doesn't care much that poeple think this (the steering wheel is from a 90s model chevy which would be my guess as to where the rest of the truck came from, including the frame) although I'm not sure why they didn't shorted the bed to made the fenders look right :P
ReadOrDie_Wow - thank you for confirming my suspicions. Amazing what I run into when pouring through ads. Some just "look nice" with expensive paint jobs but then have no money spent upgrading the braking, electric systems, front end or rear gears - the stuff that really matters.
Others need body work but appear to have all the "important stuff" upgraded and look to be solid trucks.
Nuts I tell you! Nuts!
