Radiator question

On the 56's radiator there is 2 possible places to bolt it to the rad U- bracket being 1 1/2" higher. Will this position creat any hood clearance issues. If I were to bolt it in the lower position I would not be able to use the fan shroud but in the higher position I would be able to with very little modification. The body is not sitting on the frame at the moment so I can't check for hood clearance.

I will measure the radiator-to-hood clearance on my truck this evening. Just at a glance, I believe that you will have a problem.

Thanks, I would appreciate that. I know it looks better in the lower position and I'm not sure if the fan shroud is neccessary or not. I'm also curious as to why there is 2 different hieght positions for the rad, was this rad also used for another application?
