09 f250 6spd man possible tranny issues
hey guys got a possible/potential issue with the 6spd trans. (i only have 1600 mi on it) the issue happens only when cold and never when warm or hot tranny temps. the issue is as follows: cool day 60-70 deg outside, go start truck idle for a min while i pack all my crap into back of truck bed. put the truck into reverse ok, put into 1st to get out of drive way, ok, attempt to put it into 2nd gear around 12-15 mph does not want to go so just put it into 3rd since i am going down a long steep hill infront of my house, put it into 3rd around 23mph goes in ok. now get to the bottom of my hill about a 1/4 mi later put it in 1st then i shift into 2nd gear around 15mph ok now. when i go down the road and the truck is fully warmed up shifts fine. do i have a issue or what i am at a loss. what could cause this issue it only happens on cool days around here.
