Hey guys, I recently purchased a 1969 F250. 120,ooo original miles. Beautiful condition. It has a pretty strong 360 with an automatic tranny. It is a brute to steer, especially with the 16 inch tires it sports. Anyway, does anyone out there have any information on upgrading this unit to have power steering?

 

Todd, Prolly the easiest to find would be any 70s ps unit. Up to 76 for the FE pump bracket.

You will need the pump, bracket, all lines, gear, & steering column. F100, 150, 250 are the same. Find a donor with an engine & tranny like yours.

Just for the record are we talking 2 or 4wd?
I know,if its a stock F250 4wd from 1969,it wasnt available with an automatic,but lots of these older models have already been retrofitted with a/t's ,p/s and the like......
