1969 f250 camper special 4x4

i have had this truck in the garage for about 5 years now and its been itching to get a upgrade. im trying to convert the manual drum brakes to power disk breaks. i also have a 75 f250 thats been lending me parts as needed but its the open knuckel design and the 69 is a closed. if anyone knows of any sold kits or anything at all for that matter that might be of assistance id appreciate it ty

There is no such thing as a Camper Special with 4WD until 1977.

If it has Camper Special badges, a previous owner installed them.

Or they installed a C/S body on a 4x4 chassis......as was done on one of mine.....

i did some checking and it seems someone went through some trouble hiding that fact. in the vin # check i found that the cab came off a 1970 f100 2wd and was a different color but still dont change the reason of this thread lol i cant stop! the blackbird system should do the trick . i would like to thank everyone who replied there is a wealth of knowledge on this forum and if it were not for you guys i'd still be looking

I think you will discover as i have that many times the bodies on 4x4 models get thrashed,and especially the cabs......so,after 20, 30 or more years,a lot of people have 4x4 chassis that are still serviceable with bodies that are shot,and you see quite a lot of 2wd cabs and other pieces tossed on 4x4 chassis. Im on my 4th Bumpside now,and of the 4,all 3 that were 4wd have had some fairly major switching of body parts......the simple fact that the most readily accessible VIN plate is attached to the drivers side door with rivets that can be drilled and spun out effortlessly,makes switching parts/ids/registrations quite easy......
