No spark
Hey guys. I have a 1982 F-250 with a 5.8l 351 W. I was driving it a few months ago and it suddenly died out of no where. Me and my dad narrowed it down, after much trial and error, to the fact that its not getting any spark. The distributor is out of a 1970 ford torino with the same engine. i replaced the cap and rotor on the distributor and all the plugs and wires. the coil is recieving 6 volts, i know its supposed to get about 9 volts but 6 should still be enough to start it. we replaced the petronics system in it with a single points and condenser. i have no idea what could be the problem. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks
