Steering Problem

Backstory:

Last night I was driving through the field next to my house (shortcut) and I veered left to miss a hole that was in the way.
I suppose in doing so, I hit another bump that knocked something out of line... it was a straight drive after that to where I parked my truck, so I didn't notice it.
But when I got back in the truck to go somewhere, the steering was not working right.

Description of the problem:
  • Near-impossible to turn without giving it some gas.
  • While driving it is not as big of an issue
  • Under 20mph, it gets increasingly harder to turn (which makes turning at intersections hard, and albeit dangerous, I am not driving unless I have to right now)
Do you have any idea what is going on? I think it is something with the steering column, or power steering pump, but I know that this forum has surely seen problems like this before (but upon a search, I wasn't able to find anything)

Thank you in advance!!

Obviously something is bent or broken..have you looked under the truck? checked the fluid? Are the tires both pointing straight? Is the tire centered in the wheel well? Kinda hard to just guess.

Sounds like a power steering issue to me. If you bent something, most likely steering wheel would be off-center or there would be a major pull one way or the other. Is the belt still tight?
