C6 downshift cable/selector rod
I sheared off the end of the rod/stud of the gear slector rod that comes out of my C6 transmission on my 89 Bronco. I was trying to remove the nut that holds the downshift cable so that I could replace the neutral safety switch, but the end of the rod sheared. My Haynes manual doesn't even have an exploded view of the tranny, so I have no idea if I could replace the rode by dropping the pan, or whatever. I don't even know if its called a rod. I plow snow and can't be down long. Help!!!
