The front suspension is called a drilled I beam. It is found on a lot of T Bucket and 32 Style Rods. If you look in the Street Rodder Mag references that suspension a lot.

Here is one site that sells that type of suspension. There are alot of others out there.
Whoever did that truck spent a ton of time modifying it.

There are different ways of mounting it. His spring is more than likely a mono leaf right behind the front grill assembly. Here is a link for a 29 Ford Pick Up done this way. Its from Street Rodder November 2008. Let me look thru a few other older ones, I think there was one recently on how to install a system like that.
