Red face Squirrel damage... need some assistance 4.0 SOHC

Hey guys, I have a little problem. A big squirrel made a nest in my engine and chewed some stuff. Before I repair i think it would be good if i knew what is normally in the hoses in question, and what you guys think would be the best way for me to make the repairs.

There is a zoom function on the linked page if you want a close look. Google link is much better quality.

My biggest concerns were with numbers 1 and 2. number 1 is thick walled, and reinforced, like a radiator hose, so i'm wondering if this was circulating coolant. number 2 is a rigid plastic "hose" molded in a certain shape, and is a little trickier. but it is not clamped in or anything and am thinking it may be along the lines of carrying some emissions. the hard one is just barely opened, and am wondering if just placing a heater hose with the ID of the hard pipes OD over it and clamping on each end would be sufficient. what do you think? #3, although just a vacuum hose, has specific ends on it, and i'm wondering if a barbed connector would be stupid. Your input is appreciated. thanks
