running fine, any ideas? and what about a goood code reader? I put on monroe reflex shocks. work fine good ride. wanted bilstiens but had to go to tennessee that day so what do you know, not dissapointed at all.and it runs great, 19mpg at 58 mph and 14 or so at 85. did I mention it runs very good?
just curious as to what the shocks, and good fuel mileage, a trip to TN, piaa fog lights, and projector headlights, have to do with a check engine light?
Flexman is that mileage hand calculated after several tanks of fuel or just what the Lie-o-Meter was reading at the moment?
Because I was able to hit 35 MPG after installing my SCT LiveWire Tuner on 87 Performance tune doing 75 downhill according to the Lie-O-Meter, but my actual hand calculated MPG was 11.8 at my next fill-up.
BTW here's my Average, I'm an around town driver with a heavy foot.
didnt even think obout that, For thos e of you who dont mind a multiple topic post, yes the mileage was lieometer and hand calculated after 1,600 miles of pure bliss from pidgeon fordge to orlando through the smokies, and no there is no answer for what they have to do with each other. once again thanks for the reply on how to get a code read, I was in the dark on that,
A P0705 means your TRS (transmission range sensor) is bad. It is what looks like an old backup light/neutral safety switch and is attached to the transmission where the shift lever goes in. You may want to check/clean the connections and reset code to see if it comes back.
