My Exhaust anyone heard of this or use it ?? pro's or cons
I was talking to Rick(A.k.A miller_feed) earlier tonite and this is the muffler that is on my 01' PSD put on by the PO and I just wanted to know has any body seen it before or know much about it ?? I like it and the stock sound they are talking bout all I can say is mine has a awesome whistle too it . Have had many people ask what I was running in the truck for it to sound like that. Just checking though to see if there was anything good or bad about it, also dont know yet for those that may wanna know what all truck has but going to Rick's in the near future to find out....
I run the AERO turbine with a straight thru muffler. I noticed that the turbo spools faster with the AERO turbine and egt's are about 50* lower at cruise speed. Also the turbo surge/stall I experience around 1800-2000 rpms is almost gone. With winter blend fuel I am up about 1/2 mpg since installing the AERO turbine.

Glad to hear you like it Eric, do you hear that whistle sound as well at the exhaust ?? just curious? I like mine so far as I said the PO had it put on and I didn't know it was there til got the oil changed and looked under truck and saw it.....
I don't get much of a whistle with the muffler but I do get a deep rumble that I like. I previously ran a straight pipe and I sounded good but I pull a 4 horse trailer and I was concerned about being too loud for the horses. I know if I rolled my window down when pulling hard and the exhaust bouncing off the guard rail it was extremely loud in the cab, so I know it was even louder in the back by the trailer.
So far the AERO turbine has performed as expected based on the research I did before I bought it.
Hey Ron. You may have a WW wheel in the turbo. You may want to take the intake off the turbo and look inside. If the blades on the wheel are the same size, thats a stock wheel. If every other blade is smaller, that is the WW. The WW will make a whistle sound. Worth a try.

With the power you say the truck has and the exhaust, I think you have things on the truck that you don't know. Which could be a very good thing. Glad to help all I can Ron.
Yeah Rick I may very well have some stuff on it and just dont know but thats ok too we gonna get that checked when I get to your place in a few weeks....
