Just start by taking the intake off and examine the wheel. Look for big nicks or pieces. Then try to move it side to side. You shouldnt be able to make it contact any of the surrounding metal. It could also be something else causing you not to have any power and that would result in not hearing the turbo. IE one or more cylindars not working. Hopefully if there is something wrong it is the turbo. That would be the easiest fix.

Inspect the wheel for play, a little side to side is ok, any in and out movement is bad. Also check your up pipes for leaks. They can rob boost power.
How many miles are on the truck? Any modifications over stock to the truck? I'm guessing you don't have a boost gauge to monitor boost readings.
