Reccomendations for a Locker/LS for a company truck?
My boss wants to put a limited slip or locker in the rear of his 95 F150, personally, I would slap an ARB in there and think no more of it, but, he doesn't want to spend a heck of alot of cash, mainly because he doesn't always drive the truck himself, and, you all know the way company trucks get beat on...(I've had one come into the shop with a lunched 8.8" the day after I serviced it.....) It needs to be very snowy/icy/slushy road compatable, and, easy installation would be a plus... He only wants one because he uses the truck to plow snow in the winter. I think a limited slip, or a selectable locker of some sort would be the answer. Any ideas?

How about a lock-rite/EZ locker? Think these would be the cheapest as long as he doesn't want or have oversized tires, like 33" on up. For an 8.8 inch, you can get-Air locker, Auburn, Detroit locker, EZ locker, Tru-Trac, Diamond trac, Gold trac, Ford traction lock or torq-line. Most are available thru US Gear or Currie. For the 9" there are a few more choices beyond these listed.

I would definately say a limited slip. There's alot of boneheads out there that wouldn't know how to drive on a locker and would end up hurting themselves or someone else. Alot of them guys drive company trucks like madmen and a locker will either break stuff or send them into uncontrollable 360's. There's just too much liability to think about w/ other people frequently drive your truck.
