I was just outside a few minutes ago playing with my dog and seen a funel cloud/small tornado. Never seen one actually form and make the funnel, then dissapear right before my eyes. The picture didnt come out the best because we dont have a tripod, and I hope it shows up on here.
Yes it did, when the lightning flashed behind it, you could see it go all the way to the ground, and was kicking up some dust and dirt. It wasnt very big near the bottom though.
Was really cool when it just kinda went back into the cloud. Almost looked like a reverse erection lol.
It`s been doing that here for the last 1/2 hour, not too good for my computer and I expect the wireless internet to be down soon ...........
Nancy just said that there were funnel clouds spotted north of Saskatoon.
Ive never seen one before last night either. It was a couple of miles away and I was really considering hopping in the 89 and chasing it down, but it was getting dark.
Morris if Nancy hear that on the weather channel, it was my woman and I that reported it and sent in our picture to the weather network.
Great pic there. I been through 3 tornados now. Two were up at Iroquis lake and one hit here last summer and broke my house windows.
Last night was something. The weather was hot and then the strong winds came. Good sign of tornados. We gathered the dogs and they were quite happy to get in the house. They sure were not happy with what was going on. They were worried mutts.
We did not get any tornados, but sure had alight shows and explosions for an hour., but the clouds stayed smooth and flat. Just very strong winds and light show. We watched from our living room. Had pathway cleared to basement just incase though.
Must be nice to have a basment! I just had the keys to the western star handy, I figure that thing weighs more then my mobile home, so we would be safe in there haha.
