Just a quick update of the mechanical on my latest rusbukt. (last three pics)The fun stuff.
Now back to the sheet metal.
The not so fun stuff.
Anybody wanna trade? I'll build your frame. You do all the body work.
Looks like you are in about the same place I am. My 59 4X4 has had the frame blasted and is now painted, the axles front and rear are rebuilt painted and back in the frame the springs have been replaced. The engine clutch and trans are all rebuilt and mounted in the frame, I just finished rebuilding the transfer-case last weekend and it is now all painted and back in the frame. I am running outta fun stuff and the body work is getting closer…..
I notice you are using the same engine I am and I was wondering if you had an extra air-cleaner for that year range that will fit that little holley? The PO got hold of mine with a torch and it is beyond repair.
Also where did you get the new flexible brake lines that run from the frame to the brake backing plates?
