Ford 1933 1934

Hello,

I have pictures of two different Ford trucks (two different radiator grilles) used by the Belgian Army in the late 1930's and I am looking for information about the model, 1933 ? 1934 ?
engine type and data, brake type etc ..... as much info as possible.

Looks like a square cab...ala early 30's, but the grille looks like a late 30's...never noticed anything like that,

Looks more like the early 30's, but the grill also looks a lot like a 35/36

Take a gander through carnut.com, you might spot the right grille...they have a feature to sort by year.

The first truck appears to be built using a '37 Ford front end, although the cab looks to be something other than a US Ford cab. A lot of the European trucks that Ford built didn't use the same cabs.
The other truck looks to be either a '35 or a '36 Ford, again, same deal with the cabs.

Something to think about. At one time a buyer could purchase just a cowl and chassis, and have an aftermarket cab attatched. So both of theose trucks could have been sold by Ford as Chassis-Cowl setups and an aftermarket company built the cabs.
Both would have powered by the Flathead V8, and the brakes on both of them, if using stock Ford brakes, would have been mechanical brakes since Ford did not switch until 1939.
