I have an F150 I'm selling. It's currently not registered so I need to carry it on a trailer behind my F250 to bring it to a potential buyer (times are hard & you have to do a lot more to make a sale, so yes, I need to bring the truck around to a few places).
Can anyone give me an idea on where I could start to find such a rental trailer? (or maybe to purchase?).
I've tried U-haul but they just have car trailers. Nothing that will take a pick-up.
I'm in Southern NH. If anyone on here has a personal one they'd be willing to loan, we could come to some $$ arrangement perhaps.
If U haul doesn't have a trailer, I would check out commercial rentals. Someplace that rents backhoes and skid steers and other construction equipment. Any one of their trailers will haul your truck. It may be cheaper to drive the truck to the seller and just rent a economy car for the trip back.
Like the preious poster said try a commercial tool/equipment rental company. I used one to haul this old 1988 F250 down to it's new home via my 2006 F250. This was a backhoe with a pintle hitch style hookup.
