how much to fix transmission seal?

Well, I noticed I was low on transmission fluid last week, so I went out and filled it... Then today (a week later) I checked it and its just barely above the "don't drive" mark...

When I bought it a year ago I remember the mechanic telling me one of the seals (rear seal, I think) probably leaked... Anybody know how much that generally runs for to repair?

Thanks in advance...

The rear seal is so easy to do. Just remove the drive shaft, yank out the seal (literally) And pop in the new one. A couple of links for instance (depending on your trans):
