I have my 66 F250, 2wd, in my gallery, I ALSO have my 63, AND my 77,
THEN I ran across a 73 F350 Sper Camper Special, XLT, 390 auto, AC Good cond. and am thinkin about it,,,, I am torn, wife says something needs to go, am thinking of selling my 66, and keeping my 63 Slick since it is 4x4. Just gimme your thoughts, opinions, I am floating the same thing in the 73-79s posts.
I love the dentsides as much as the slicks, but you already have your 77. the SCS is a major heavy duty truck. If you want load capacity, its the truck to get.
Just tell her it costs $10,000 but you were able to get "on sale" after wheelin and dealin to what he is actually asking for it. LOL My wife hates it when I use that term now. It made everything ok at one point for her to use it on me but now that the tables are turned it isn't so much.
If you're really good, you'll find a way to keep them all. Look at my sig, it can be done. Not to mention I also have a 68 F100 4X2 Ranger and '74 F100 4X2 Custom as parts trucks. 7 at home, 2 at work, 1 at Dad's house in Oregon. You just gotta be creative. Good luck.
Well, I AM working on that Jhooch, last time I had 5 we were living in the OC, in a neighborhood with preppies, they all ran, I had 2-99 f250 7.3 4x4 superduty's, 1 CC, 1 SC, 1-94 CC F350 4x4, 1-79 F350 4x4, 1-66 F100, they had to to keep moving and shuffling. Now I have room, just too many projects,,,, but I am tryin.
ahh... just sign the titles over to a good friend... divorce her... and buy as many trucks as you want... seems like a resonable way to get the truck...[claim she beats you hahaif you want to for looks i have a baseball bat..]
now for serousness
personally i would give up the 66... its right inbetween the older one... and the one you are looking at...
Yeah I know Jhooch, it is the one I have had the longest,,, actually, my first truck I held the title on was my grandpa's 66 F100, and I kept the instrument cluster from it and have it in this 66, however, that would come out to go in my 63!
