92 302 will turn over but not crank
we just replaced the timing chain and water pump. when we got the engine put back together, the truck would not stay cranked, the engine was idling rough and dying. we adjusted the throttle set screw and that helped. this morning when i went to crank it, it wouldn't start. we changed the 02 sensor and the tps sensor. the engine still turns over but won't start. where do i go from here???

Hi, I hate to say this, but if you did not remove any hoses, dist. or anything else but timing gears, then maybe you need to get in there and double-check the gear alignment. Have your remote starter handy and see where those timing marks are.

we did take off all the hoses, but we had it running for a couple of days. then all of a sudden it wouldn't run right. the timing is correct, we have checked that. any more suggestions????

Well, if it ran good for a short time, check all hoses to be sure none got disconnected and also need to be sure they are routed correctly. if you have a carb, ther may be dirt in the carb somehow, or if you have FI, there may be a wire or vacuum hose not connected.
