On my head and cam swap this is what I ended up with. My block is a 69 351 windsor, stock c9 heads and a comp cams 210 in, 218 ex, .477 in, .493 ex. cam. Wanted to port the heads but ran into alot of trouble with mismatched heads from the original rebuilder. Swapped out one of them and ended up with a miss and smoke. Bought a set of rebuilt 69 heads and ran out of time so I had to get it together. Runs pretty good. Been driving it 2 years with a closed chamber and an open chamber head and did'nt know it, sure is smoother now.
What kind of Hp and torque would I be looking at with a stock bore, I think it was bored.010 over, stock 69 closed chamber heads and that cam.
Still need to play with timing some. Got it on 10 btdc But had to put 1 stiff spring back in dizzy to avoid detonation. I have a 77 duraspark and the advance stop is 16 and 18 so I need to modify it.
Sorry for the long post but alot has happened.
Thanks for the help with my cam and head change woes.
