Hello From death Valley
Howdy. Just joined this site after reading some negative comments on the V10 which I just bought. I feel much better after reading all the positive comments. It's 2000 F250, V10, Auto, 4x4, SD. It only has 62000 on it and I got it for cheap! Somebody put Firestone air bags and helper springs under it. I moved my 5th wheel over from my old truck and made a test run withmy 28' 5er last weekend up and out of the valley. I was really impressed with the performance! We are nearly finished with our winter tour here in Death Valley and heading for the northwest. I haven't had a chance to see what the mileage will be, so am looking forward to what will happen. I just sold my 96 F250 HD, 5 spd, with a 5.8. She was a aweetheart, but a little under powered for the job and only got about 7 mpg on a good day with the 5er hooked up. The new(er) truck didn't really seem to notice the trailer. Looks like an interesting site. I'm not much of a writer, -- mostly just a lurker, but occasionally, I see something that gets me interested enough to put in my 2 cents worth.

Hi and welcome teddyruxton, great to have you on board.
I felt the same way about my 05 F350/6.0 diesel after reading the negative comments on the 6.0 but all is well as it`s a great truck! I`m sure the 96 F250/5.8 can`t hold a candle to the V10.
