better performance after mystery click
Every once in a while I will hear a click as though my engine sensors become readjusted by my computer. At that time my performance kicks up while shifting. The engine feels like it has a shorter stroke and the whole truck seems lighter and is quicker. Tourqe is obviously better. The click sounds like an air conditioner compressor switching on or off. Not very loud.
The only other time I experience this condition is when the dew point and atmospheric temp is not more than 6 0r 7 deg. in difference. I realize engines find thier best fuel/air ratios when weather conditions are right.
2 questions. What type devices could click?
Has anyone had this problem with a MAP sensor?
