Truck wont stay running more than 10 seconds

Hi all. My uncle has a 95 F-150 300-6 5sp. When he tries to start it after it has sit for a few hours, it will start and run fine. Seconds later it will shut off, then not restart. I was thinking it was fuel supply too, but he has assured me that he has checked the fuel pressure and it is fine. He never actually gave me a number. Its been a while since Ive played with gas engines, so Im a tad rusty. What are some things that I can check? Thanks in advance. Aaron

Yesterday I had a chance to play with the truck a little bit. Turns out the truck will start ok, then spit and spudder REAL bad. It would stay running as long as I held the throttle down more than half way, UNTIL it got warm. After that, it died and wouldnt restart by itself. My uncle poured gas down the intake pipe and it would run, so that proves its fuel related. When it was running, it sounded like cylinders were not firing intermittently. Im guessing it was the injectors were not firing. Next question, what tells the injectors to fire, and when?
