I dont really think theres a whole lot of bad mouthing ford, just alot of people fed up with the way ford handles there customers, and people dissapointed in there brand new trucks breaking down and such. You dont really see people on here saying fords are worthless and they suck and that kind of talk.

I have to agree I don't think people are totally bashing Ford. granted I am not happy with my truck and the way Ford has treated me. But anyone who has owned alot of ford trucks will tell you Ford makes the best truck.

But there are tons of problems out there with SOME of these trucks, and like most other american companies Ford has put customer service and high quality parts out the window. for more profit and the heXX with the people who buy these over priced trucks.

I still say if all these parts were made in the USA buy companies that cared
we would not have these problems. Ford choses to use Mexico parts and should stand by them. I have a laundry list of parts that have been replaced
and I would bet good money 90% of the parts were not made to the quality of the old days when people cared about putting out good stuff.

And to that I say shame on you Ford, this will make you just another truck
and you can never say again THE BEST NEVER RESTS remember those days!!

If for some reason you dislike a certain post Don't join in and move on

People Should be able to post want they want (within reason of cource)
Thats what this is all about, Letting it out in a open fourm to share our thoughts (good and bad) with others.
If its junk its junk ,I think we are all adult and smart enough to read thru the b.s and make our own jugments. but banning or censorship, its a bad idea.

Lol I saw that coming

- As for the complainers, i have to second the comment where Ford treats thieir customers like CRAP. Ive been trying to get the CPS recall done for about a month now and (ever since they found out its a 2001 with 280,000 miles) their lifts seem to ALWAYS be filled with more important trucks. I tried to make an appointment ... they said they dont do it that way for recalls. HAHA i told the dealer manager a few choice words. Searching for another dealer right now.

I think the point is that the title is very irritating. I don't have a problem with the content now. When the post first started Tom was out of control in my opinion in both the title and the content. Since then the conversation is much more effective and to the factual points. I would recommend to let that old thread title die and carry it on in another more focused title such as Poor Dealer Service, etc., seeing you already have another post in place to cover your specific negotiations with the dealer.

I hope I never have those experiences. We have owned 3 Fords, now have the 08 6.4L. (also had 3 GM products. They have all been good trucks..The 08 did have a bad DPF replaced by a dealer(not my home dealer) without issue. 3 different Ford dealers have treated me good as has the truck.. We noted a bad DPF while wintering in Florida and the Local dealer looked at the black soot in the tail pipe, ordered the DPF and replaced it. Drove me back and forth to our camper while it was in the shop and later gave me a discount on my 6K mile service as If I had purchased the truck there.

However if you got a bad truck or have a bad dealer you do have reason to complain. I think most Ford owners as well as other brand owners have a positive experience with the truck and dealer.

Having 7 pages on my Oasis report is pretty lame. I will not go on about this again though. To make a long story short....................Back in the late late 90's and even the early 2000, 2001,years I noticed Ford's service being much better than it is today. Just like the gentleman stating about the CPS sensor replacement, I cannot even get into the dealer for reapairs for at least 1-2 weeks (for diesels) and then the dealer usually keeps my truck for 1 more week. Unacceptable! So if you go down the list on my Oasis report Ford has had my truck in their shop for at least 2 months (60 days), probably longer, for all of the repairs that have been done. Trust me when my truck is in the shop, I am thinking jeez not again, this thing is a piece of crap! I wouldn't be so hard on those who get frustrated with their $50k piece of equipment breaking down so much. Put yourself in their shoes and you would not be very happy either. Going on and on and on about it may get old, but once again if it were your truck, I really think you would be pissed off too! Guys like Tom, hey man I understand I do not think he has in any way gone on an improper rant! It is what it is, in fact he wants another Ford truck after all the probs he has experienced.

Just because YOUR Ford truck ran great and YOUR Ford experience has been perfect, don't expect those of us who have had tons of problems to just go away with our mouths shut! Alright I am done now. I am trying to not go off here!!!!

Catang, sorry i disagree that tom was outta controll. to my understanding he put 20 k down and feels like they got him by the short and curlys. I was skeptical at first of his posts, however my 08 cc dually ( the most beautiful red truck i have ever seen) has been in the courtesy ford dealership in altoona pa since friday.... for the fourth time. I have had to shut this truck off at red lights with both feet on the brake pedal...i have taken my foot off the brake and went from 0-60 in 1.3 seconds and never touched the pedal...i almost suffocated my children on the way to school from exhaust in the cab. iget 6.6 mpg 50- 50 no hauling...as we speak my oil level has risen ahalf inch up the dip stick the steel line not just past max. when i first got the truck i was thefastest thing on thr blvd on friday nights now i have about a 2-3 second turbo lag and i cant keep up with theese little punks daddys trucks anymore. my wife and i work hard and was able and lucky enough to go to courtesy ford altoona pa and drop 90 k cash on an 08 expy for her and a f350 for me....they have the guts to ask me when i drop off my truck if i would like for them to give me a ride home...a RIDE home not a rental mind you...So you think toms post were over the top? I think you are the one with the problem....You think toms bad ? i havent even got started yet......chuck

Chuck:
Not familar with the dealer you speak of in Altoona, but I stopped at a relatively small dealership right off 219 at the U. S. route 30 exit and spoke to them when I had my 6.0 2005 F-350 regarding engine service work. Seemed like a very good dealership. Our PA property is about 20 miles away.

I am sure we all know that so many Ford dealerships are either not allowed or will not even talk about a 6.4 diesel.

Anyway, I got positive conversation from speaking with the service manager and this dealership is about 7 miles east of Jennerstown, PA at Route 219 and U. S. route 30.
Good luck if you need a second opinion.

I have a Job 1 that is fantastic. It buggers my soul to see your posts always at the top of the forum. I believe you have all of us fooled and you my friend are a troll. Go away, please.
