Need Some Help!
I have a 99 ranger 2x4 auto trans recently replaced head gaskit, timing belt. Was running like a champ then the idle went to crap. when the truck idles it lopes then after a miniute of loping it idles real low and erratically till it finally miss fires and dies. when the truck is in park and i give it some gas it runs a little rough and i hear some popping noise. i checked the trouble codes one reads P0108 manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor circuit High input. The other P0507 IAC system higher than expected. I checked the vacuum lines, spark plugs, fuel pump, intake, and replaced the TPS. im stuck ..! Could this possibly mean a slipped tooth on the timing or mabey something else? Thanx
