Question one size in the back and one in the front...

My daily driver is my 98 4x4 3.0 ranger currently have 225/70r16's all around. I just picked up a pair of 245/70r16's. How bad would it be to mount the larger set in the rear while keeping the smaller set in front until I can get a hold of 245's to match? Thanks in advance for any and all info on the subject.

I belive in a pinch it would work just don't put in 4x4 because it will rip up the T-case. I personally would wait and change all 4 tires at once.

I've always run the same size on my Rangers so I never gave that any thought. Now that you have pointed it out to me I can see why. Thanks for the heads up!
