fuel line
is it possible to use a more flexible metal line for a fuel line. like copper or something,. i have a steel brake line and its a pain in the *** to get to bend right. its the line from the fuel pump to the carb.

I've seen some people use copper and aluminum for fuel lines and have seen it used on older Harleys as well. I've always heard copper and aluminum are much more suseptible to cracking, so I've always used steel. Find a cheap tubing bender, allow yourself some time and a little patience and you'll be fine. I fabricated 3 steel fuel lines from pump to carb for my 51, 63 and 79. I use a coat hanger or soft copper as a pattern then bend the steel one.
