Frame ID number?
By the first 3 in the serial B18 signifies that it is in fact a 1932.
The "B" signifies 4 Cyl, and the "18" is the designation number for 1932.
To my understanding all the Pickup, or Panels light duty trucks were all 4 CYL.
The 1932 Ford Pickup did not come with a V8 engine.
I would say that your best choice would be to take a look at some where on the Truck Body that has not been exposed to the elements. The first place I would look, again I have not seen the Truck, but if there is no hood on it lets say. Then most of the paint would probably be gone. So take a look at the lower end of the cowl, around where the rear of the engine and trans would have been, this area is usually protected, and preserved by grease and oil, wipe off the residue and you just may be lucky.
Colors back in those years were usually simple especially on commercial vehicles. Mostly Green, Red, Blue, Black, etc. from then you can go to this web site www.fordbarn.com go to the Early V8 Forum and post your question there, you will usually get a good response.
These guys are into the originals, and can guide you in the right area.
I am not trying to redirect you away from this site, as it is a great one to be involved in.
So go and give it a try and see what you come up with, good luck.
Black is the color you want then. have you got your gallery set up yet? Would like to see some pics of your Truck.
The rest of the Truck as far as interior goes is straight foward simple and usually also in Black, or a Dark Brown.
Headlamps on the Truck were Also Black and very little if any shiny metal, other that the Headlamp Rings, which I believe were Stainless.
Keep in mind if your restoring this Truck it was a 4 Cyl., the small commercial even the larger Trucks were 4 Cyl, although the cars were both V8 & 4 Cyl.
