Will an 88 body fit an 84 frame?
My father son project didn't end up going like the movies as a nice man sold us his truck cheap as 'it just needs new gas tanks as the old ones are rusted'. Well even though the body is great the frame is a complete rust out. I have advertised locally for months and have finally had a response from a guy with an 84. Will my son's 88 2wd F150 short wheel base body bolt onto an 84 version frame? Thanks!

Thanks! Any idea if the fuel tanks I already bought will fit the 84 version? Will the engine and auto drop into it using the same mounts?

Yes, it will bolt on just fine, excpet for the bumper mounts, which can fixed., but other than that, it will bolt on an 84 just as easy as it would an 88
