EFI motor to Carbed motor swap
I am in the process of changing out my six for a 351w (sorry straight six fans, I needed the V8). Anyhow, a friend of mine is buying my 1995 fuel injected motor/exhaust/radiator to put in his 1983 carberated truck. I can't think of any problems that he will have with the swap, but just in case, has anyone heard of anything? He will have both motors (the '83 runs it just has bad piston rings). He is keeping the truck carburated so he will have to swap the intake manifolds (they should bolt up). The only other problem that I can think of is the fuel pump in the carbed truck and the water pump pulley on my truck is a serpentine belt where his is a v-belt.
Has anyone done this swap? Any problems?
