So whats everyone do for a living?

Just curious what everyone does, i see some other people posting at all times during the day so I'm wondering if anyone else has a job where they can screw around on the computer during the day?

I actually have 2 jobs, my main job is managing about 6500 parking spots in a couple parking gargaes and outdoor lots around a few downtown chicago tourist attractions. Really i sit in my office and push some paperwork around and help the people that cant read the directions on the machines occasionally lol. So most of the day I'm hanging out in my office bored and on the computer. My other job is as a bouncer at a local late night bar in my area. I'd tell you some stories but the good ones might land some of is jail, so I'll leave those alone lol.

I'm an engineer at an aircraft engine company. The summary is I get to do all the kinds of things to airplane engines that you're never supposed to, and see what happens. It's fun!

Hence the constant references to aviation and aircraft.

I grew up in Texas and my Dad was an International Harvester dealer. I worked in the parts dept. all through my high school summers. I currently run the world's largest Radio Control website (airplanes, boats, cars, helis, etc). I do everything from keeping the forum up and running (166,000 plus users) to doing live webcasts of RC events across the country. I pull a 27 foot toyhauler during the summer to these events - which is why I'm picking up my Excursion in the morning. I have been towing this beast with a 4.6 Expedition and getting about 6 mpg.

So what does everyone do for a living?

I sell metal buildings/metal roofing on the Gulf Coast. I sell the metal buildings across the country. I sell the metal roofing locally. Residential roofing has died down here. After Ivan and Katrina, everybody that was thinking about a roof, went ahead and got one. Things are slim in the roofing but the metal buildings are going really well. We are in the industrial market and it is booming right now. Espeically oil refinaries.
