Why the heck is Diesel fuel so expensive? I am thinking about selling my Diesel Ex because it's so expensive to run. Anyone else feel the same. I love my truck, but $150 a fill up is getting out of hand.

I believe the reason Diesel has gone up so much recently is because of taxes, since the adoption of ULSD at the pumps (07 emissions changes). Some one else might have more details?
The cost of filling up a truck is not a good way of comparing the costs. You need to consider the MPG and the usage of the vehicle and cost to change.
If you compare the average cost difference between gas and diesel and the difference in average MPG I think you will find there is very little differance in cost.
You do have choices:
1. Drive less miles (lots and lots of ways of doing this).
2. Drive a smaller vehicle, or motorcycle, or even bike.
3. Change habits, job, etc to reduce your need for driving.
4. Make your own Bio Diesel.
5. Find a better price for Diesel (co-op, membership, delivery, etc).
6. Change to another vehicle.

I'm hoping the high fuel-prices drive down the prices of the Excursions even more, so that I can finally afford a good PSD-powered one.
The prices of the V-10's have been dropping like stones over the past three months; the PSD's have just edged down slightly, but I've seen a LOT of them go begging for buyers for months and months.
