I'm kind of new to these old trucks here. I'm about to pick up my '46 ton and a half, and was wondering about getting parts for it. I was doing a search for brake parts just to see what was out there and so far I haven't found anything. Can you still get shoes and drums for these old trucks?

I found some front end parts that are available but I sure would like some good brakes to go with them.

I'd liie to be able to help you out, but I don't have direct knowledge...but, joblot does carry bigger truck stuff...that said, unless you're doing a concourse resto...and I doubt it since it's a big truck, you may want to think about running a newwer D70 rear with better geras and support.
