I wonder if they used an engine with 2 sparkplugs per cylinder (like an old Nissan motor) and just replaced one of the plugs with an endoscopic type camera.

Thats cool. I would say they drilled a port in the side of the head to get the direction of the lens they wanted. I wonder if it is not a test engine!
