I have a 65 F100 I am currently working on, previous owner tried for a Harley Davidson paint scheme and did a poor job of it. Truck is black and orange with a bright red seat. I am hoping to find out what my truck was originally.

Any help would be appreciated she deserves to look better.
Couple of web sites displaying color chips. As best as I can determine, the exterior A code represents 'raven black'. In the first site, the 'raven black' is not listed under the 65 chip selection but is under the 62 Ford truck chip selection.
In the second web site, it list the A code as 'raven black' but does not display the color chip. By entering model (Ford Truck), then year, it will bring you to the chip selection. By entering the color name, it should bring you to selection of part numbers by paint type. Perhaps once you establish what paint type interested in you can call and request paint chip. Not sure I would repaint in acrylic enamel.
Not an authority, perhaps more knowledgeable member can assist, but appears there are 2 part numbers for the 'raven black' AE60=Acrylic Enamel 1724-A (U.S. Part Number), and AE60=Acrylic Enamel 1724-C (Canada Part Number).

I do not have anything that say's Int or Ext color. the rest of the tag info is weight. I wish there was a way to find the truck's origin so I can see the dealer info. the inside is confusing me, the door panels are dark red vynil, the bench seat is bright red, the dash is spray painted black and orange. There is no headliner and the sun visors are white.
As others have spoken; I use PPG paint code from a 64 paint chip to attain the Raven Black paint. The only time I saw a problem with using paint is in colors like white; if you go and get some mix up ensure you get enough the first time; having folks pre mix additional paint is challenging to match.
By the sounds of it; your interior should of been two tone black & red.
Is your speedo bezel round or sweep style; Round would've been white; and the sweep style a aliumuin (sp check) color. Being a custom cab your speedo should be sweep style.
Is yours set up for the Alt. and oil pressure gauges to the sides of the speedo...look at the wiring and see what you can tell...I have a cluster with gauges Im willing to part with...
