Wider rears

So I have a 65 slick, and I want wider rears, but i cant get wider with out going taller. So that being said, does anyone run 32x11.5 on there slicks? If so, have a pics?

You have to play with the size numbers to make it happen. The 235 75 15 and the 255 70 15 are the same height but the tread is wider on the 255. I suspect if you went with a 275 60 15 you would be wider still without being taller.

I have seen links posted here to sites that had all of that info, but I don't remember them.

I have 295-50-15s under my '66 lwb with plenty of room. 305s would fit with the proper backspacing. 315s would require some "massaging". I hope this helps.

if the truck is lowerd you may have problem replacing wide tires, I got to jack on the frame so the rear end will fall to get my tires out.
