Eliminate or reduce induction crossfire. If you route your wires properly with any quality wire, you will be fine.

Like Mr. M said its mostly about getting a quality set of wires to begin with.

I've got a set of blue Ford racing 9mm wires on my 96 f150, I had a few extra bucks at the time and thought they were pretty.

Not sure if they made a difference power wise, but they've been a good set of wires. They haven't got baked to the plug and they pop right off with little effort.

Just like everything else we do....all part of making the thing run better......
Ford racing 9mm don't cost much more than stock wires and are built for high heat and hard running....so if I run normal....got to be better. Mine had a low end miss....the wires helped.....
BUT.....when I routed them correctly......WOW....all miss is gone.

and they are purrrrty......

Good Luck

Well, I can tell you my experience from my mustang. I had stock wires and regular plugs etc. and though it was due for it I tuned it up with MSD cap, wires, coil and some bosch platinum plugs and it had a noticeable improvement especially at low RPM uphill. I would say it was a kick in the pants but just noticeable. Then a friend borrowed the car and managed to burn one of the wires on the longtubes so I replaced them with the Ford Racing 9mm ones and I liked them even better for the same reason.
