is this a good deal

Ive been looking recently for an exhaust system, either a split or a true dual. ive been looking at summit racings site and it has a kit that contains all the pipes, hangers, clamps, everthing except the mufflers, for a dual headerback system for $130

http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=WLK%2D89016&view=1&N=700+150+4 294923429+4294922451+4294908331+4294908312+4294924 760+4294905933+4294905283+&appfilter=1

id then get two flowmaster 40 series or dynomax bullets (leaning towards the flows) off of ebay probably and then have a muffler shop install it.

cost of mufflers and the kit about $210-230
how much would the service be?
and what do you all think of this setup?

my truck btw is a

Welcome to FTE

Not a thing wrong with pre-fabbed kits......but they are made to install yourself so you save money. That kit will work fine....but it is 2 1/4 pipe.
As long as you are going to pay a shop to do it...let them fab the system with 2 1/2....better flow and sound......and if anything goes bad.....they fix it.
Buy the Flows on ebay if you can save anything.....the shop will install them......
When I looked at a FlowMaster system.....I couldn't get the mufflers any less costly than the shop was charging by the time I figured shipping.
Shop around....you'll find a good price.

Good Luck
Bob
