if a hypertech programmer is any good??? and all i really want is a little black smoke for now... and is the hypertech worth the $360.00 i am going 2 give for it

IMO, no... not for retail pricing anyhow. Get a custom chip from tony wildman. I have researched it alot and it seems his is the best out there. here's a link http://www.dpppower.com/chips.html
