56 Ford suspension conversion... HELP!
Hello, i am on a tight budget but have a solid 56 F250. i would like to just change the front 8 lug to a 5 lug. i would consider a new sub frame package but really dont want to spend more than a 1000.00 on one. this truck has been in the family for more than i have been on this earth and i would like to rat rod it for now (the joy of driving it!) i would appreciate any advise on the best, most economical way to accomplish this.
also need a 1/2 ton box. i shortened the frame to make it a 1/2 ton style.

Welcome Doug and congrats on your super project, one of my favorite Ford truck years is the 53-56.
