Stolen Edge
I just went out to my truck and found my edge stolen. Odd, they didn't steal anything else and I had the edge hidden in the ashtray. I was wondering if the stealers could even use the edge without deactivating it from my truck. Also, if I buy another will I ever be able to restore it back to factory. I had the edge for over a year and I like what I can do with it. It sucks though that I will have to buy another.

Your probally going to have to buy another edge and call them to download the stock tune to the new edge and then install the new edge. Or you can take it to the dealer and have them flash you cpu. I would also call edge if you have the serial # and tell them that it was stolen. If someone calls edge to unlock the stolen edge.

sorry to hear about this.... hopefully you have comprehensive coverage on your insurance so you dont have to dish out all the money.... but not to worry, it is esentially useless to anyone else... i know this doesnt help you much, but at least it doesnt help them either !!
