where did the oil go???

so i changed my oil today an took a sample to send off to blackstone, well after cleaning up the mess i made when the oil filer slipped an spilled all over me an the driveway, i noticed i only got about 2 an 3/4 gal of oil....i know the oil filter holds half a gal of the 3.75 gals total. so i seem to be missing about 2gt of oil. only have 6000 on the change an have no oil leaks anywhere that show were id loose that much oil. i had been driving all day then let it sit for about an hour before draining, i have changed the oil before when its warm an never showed that much not drained. l pulled my cold side intercooler pipes off to see if maybe i had a leak in the turbo but there as clean as i left them aft the CCV mod that drops to the drivers wheel whell. it dosnt have sines of oil leaking form it either. no smoke from exhaust either....any idea where this could have gone? iv gone this long on an oil changer before an always seem to get about 3.5 gal of oil drained.

Did you add 15 quarts back in once the oil was drained? Thats all that matters. You probably spilled more than you thought. Go check your oil first thing in the AM again.
