While the old frame was in good shape, I decided to upgrade to a Chris Alston Chassisworks frame and suspension, with a custom 9" rear end and air bags. It's an IFS up front and a four bar in back. Wilwood 4 piston brakes front and rear, with cross-drilled and slotted 13" rotors.

The transmission is a TKO 600, with a .82 fifth.

Yeah I think that MIGHT handle the power lol!!!!! SWEET #'s
I have a better solution on the exhaust. I'm putting on an exhaust gate that will allow me to run straight pipes at the flip of a switch (actually I'm trying to configure it for the choke **** to "hide" it) so I can be real annoying , I mean give me that extra HP if I ever take it to the track.
A TKO trans!!!!! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Finally someone didn't opt for a pantywaist automatic!!!!!!
The TKO is the exact tranny that I am planning for my Lightning killer. I've had two different manuals after swapping out the (non-original) FMX auto that my pickup came with. Neither the M5R2 or the T5 held up behind my (very mild) 351W. The T5 only made it one trip across the country (NV to NY, pulling a trailer) before starting to make some SERIOUS noises.
