Question Hello Ford Truck Enthusiasts

Howdy,

I'm a Ford nut too. I presently have a 1990 Ford and have had several from the 70s to the 90s. My last truck was a 1997 that got totalled about 3 years ago. It was my baby. I am currently lookin at a 1948 Ford 1 1/2 ton truck to restore or rod out. I also have access to a '48 1 ton. Both are in excellent shape (good body, glass, running gear, etc...) QUESTION IS: Am I better off stickin to the original frame and motor, or findin a new chassis and startin new. I guess it all comes down to if I want a bigger truck, all original, or make it a rodder. If I ditched the frame, what would mate up with the least amount of headache? If I stuck with the frame, then what?, new axles, new motor, ???? I am torn both ways. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
